Team Four Foodservice Achieves Major Milestones

COLUMBIA, MD, May 28 – Team Four Foodservice announced today that it has added the 50th customer concept to its Membership list and has surpassed 150 in manufacturer and service provider contracts.

Team Four now services more than 600 individual customer locations in the United States and provides consulting services to several Canadian foodservice operators.

In discussing Team Four’s reach, Russell J. Cipolla the company’s Senior Vice-President and Co-Founder noted that sales made through Team Four customers to foodservice patrons now exceed $300 Million annually. 

“We have been fortunate to be able build our customer base with a diversified membership - we now serve quick service, fast casual, casual theme, family and fine dining restaurants; stadiums; convention centers; limited and full service hotels; entertainment centers; race tracks, contract management companies and universities. The breath of our customer portfolio allows us to touch a vast array of products, commodity markets and suppliers which, in turn, gives our customers the broadest selection of products and manufacturers from which to choose their ingredients,” said Cipolla.

In addition to traditional food manufacturers and foodservice supply vendors, Team Four’s growing list of manufacturer and service providers boasts a broad array of service companies that can supply Team Four member customers; significant contracts in printing, trash removal, pest elimination, office supplies, travel services, graphic design, energy management and credit card processing are now available to every customer member.

“We have deliberately built our portfolio of manufacturers and service providers by adding quality companies that can make a significant impact on our customers’ bottom line; it is not enough to simply focus on food cost, when two-thirds of the cost of running a foodservice operation lies in areas outside of food. This is not a ‘one size fits all’ business, it is important that we customize a complete solution for each customer member based on how we can provide a long-lasting positive difference to their bottom line,” added Cipolla.
